Nel 1957 Tonino Lorenzini, dopo aver lavorato per molti anni per l'ALFA ROMEO, fonda ufficialmente la TOGI a Milano. Fedele alla sua passione per le auto del "Biscione" e grazie all'amicizia ed affetto che lo legano ai suoi ex-colleghi, crea attraverso gli anni una magnifica serie di automodellini pressofusi in metallo riproducenti, tranne per alcune rare eccezioni, automobili ALFA ROMEO.
La serie dei modelli TOGI inizia con la TURBO SPECIAL, monoposto da gara con linee originali, e continua con la GIULIETTA SPRINT, la 159, la fantastica GIULIETTA SS, la GIULIA BERLINA, la 2600 SPRINT, la DUETTO, la GIULIA GT JUNIOR, la MONTREAL, la CARABO, la 2000 BERLINA, l'ALFASUD, la 1750 del 1930, la GIULIETTA SPIDER, la LANCIA LAMBDA del 1922 e la 164.
Tutti i modelli sono prodotti in diverse varianti ed ogni rifinitura viene effettuata a mano. La produzione per ogni versione è limitata a poche migliaia di pezzi (in alcuni casi poche centinaia) che vengono montati e collaudati singolarmente. Comune a tutti i modelli è l'esclusiva scala 1:23, le ruote smontabili con la caratteristica chiave TOGI, la predominanza dei componenti metallici (circa il 95%) e la disponibilità nella versione assemblata ed in kit.

La continuità della tradizione TOGI, nel rispetto per i valori originali, è assicurata nel futuro da FONGALTOGI, nata nell'azienda artigianale di pressofusione che per 40 anni ha fornito alla Togi la maggior parte delle parti in metallo.

In 1957 Tonino Lorenzini, after having worked for several years for ALFA ROMEO, officially founds TOGI in Milan. Faithful to his passion for the "Biscione" cars and thanks to the friendship and affection with his ex-collegues, he creates towards the years a magnificent range of die-cast metal car models reproducing, apart from a few rare exceptions, ALFA ROMEO cars.
The TOGI models range starts with the TURBO SPECIAL, racing single-seaters with original lines, and carries on with the GIULIETTA SPRINT, the 159, the fantastic GIULIETTA SS, the GIULIA BERLINA, the 2600 SPRINT, the DUETTO, the GIULIA GT JUNIOR, the MONTREAL, the CARABO, the 2000 BERLINA, the ALFASUD, the 1750 of 1930, the GIULIETTA SPIDER, the LANCIA LAMBDA of 1922 and the 164.
All the models are manufactured in several variations apart from the basic one, and the production is limited to a few thousands of pieces (in some cases a few hundreds) for each version. Common to all the models is the exclusive scale 1:23, the demountable wheels with the characteristical TOGI key, the assembled or kit version, the hand-made finishings.
The continuity in the Togi tradition, in the respect for the original values, is assured in the future by FONGALTOGI, born in the artigianal die-casting company that for 40 years supplied the Togi company with most of the metal parts.
